Cheltenham v Coney Hill v Stroud

Cheltenham Tigers had a Triangular tournament at Newlands on Sunday
against Coney Hill and Stroud - REPORT BY HUGH WILKINSON

Cheltenham Tigers 5 - Coney Hill 5

This was a hard physical encounter between two closely matched teams.
Cheltenham scored in the first half through a well worked penalty with
Ollie Birmingham scoring the try. Coney Hill edged the second half
and scored a good try with their winger going over in the corner. This
was a good contest and a good wake up call for both teams before the
County Cup where undoubtedly both teams should feature prominently.

Cheltenham Tigers 20 - Stroud 5

Cheltenham played well in their second encounter and dominated through
their possession of the ball. Tries were scored by Jonty Wilkinson,
Max Sayer-Martin and Charlie Green. Stroud scored their only try
through a loaned player, Piers Harris who certainly enjoyed his moment
of glory playing against his fellow Tigers
