Newlands Ground Source Heating Project - we need donations ! Visit our Just Giving Site and help us renovate our environment.
KIT RECYCLING SCHEME LAUNCH SUNDAY 7TH MARCH IN THE CLUBHOUSE
This coming Sunday (March 7) there will be the launch of our long-awaited kit recycling scheme. We will be setting up a stall in the bar to offer second hand kit at bargain prices, many items of old lost property and also some items of new clothing and brand new rugby balls! All items will be in a clean/laundered condition with the price and size clearly labelled.
For every donation of kit on the day there will be a discount in the sale price of any item you buy!
Donations before the day will receive a £2 voucher for each item. If you have already donated you will still receive this!
We urgently need more stock so please dig into your cupboards and drawers and clear out that outgrown or unwanted kit. Anything of a sporting nature is welcome, including boots, trainers, astro shoes, training tops and coats, shirts, joggers, shorts, safety equipment and so on. Please leave it behind the bar at the club before Friday, or give me a call on 01242 242226 and I will collect.
All proceeds will to go towards the club's new Ground Source Heating System.

Welcome to the Cheltenham Mini and Juniors !
Registration for 2009/10 now open - come and join us !
We are a successful club based at Newlands Park on the outskirts of Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham (directions). Throughout the season (September - April), we offer opportunities for children (aged 7-17) to get involved in this great sport. We welcome all abilities - from newcomer to experienced player. Tag rugby is played by the under 7 and under 8 groups, with older groups playing the contact game in accordance with RFU guidelines.
Currently there are over 350 players registered with us and all squads are managed by qualified coaches. All coaches and volunteers are CRB checked. We adhere closely to the RFU guidelines to ensure that all our children enjoy safe and secure playing conditions.
The season is a mixture of structured training, fixtures (see mini fixtures and junior fixtures) against local sides and entry into festivals and tournaments. When at home, sessions start on Sunday mornings at 10.00am and finish by around midday - food, refreshments and a licensed bar are available.
Last season was another very enjoyable and successful campaign with 4 age groups finishing as the Gloucestershire County Cup Champions !
Of course, to be this successful demands effort … !!
